Ronald Lawrence Moody, 74, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Jesup, Georgia on July 2, 1947 to Theron and Lavon Bowen Moody and was a lifelong resident of Long County. Ronald was a Vietnam Veteran with over twenty years of honorable service in the US Army. His awards include the Bronze Star and numerous other awards and declarations. He was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church and confessed his love for Jesus Christ at an early age. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, sons, Ronald L. Moody II, Wilton Moody and lifelong friend, Molly Logan.

Grandchildren, Trenton and Trevor Moody
Brothers, Robert Moody of Hinesville, Georgia
Eric Moody of Statesboro, Georgia
Jason Moody of Ludowici, Georgia
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with military honors. Burial will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
