Ricky Dane Taylor

Ricky Dane Taylor, 62, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville. He was born September 6, 1959 to William Dane Taylor and Margaret Cowart Stalvey and lived here all of his life. Ricky was a retired sheet metal insulator, spending his early years insulating nuclear plants and other large companies. He loved fishing, spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, grandparents and nephew, Rueben Hendrix.

            He is survived by:

                        Mother, Margaret Stalvey of Glennville, Georgia

                        Children, Kilynn Faith Taylor
                                        Luke Dane Taylor both of Glennville, Georgia

                        Step-Children, Ayla Oglesby, Jacob Oglesby, Kaleb Oglesby and Joey Haufman

                        Siblings, Eddie Hendrix (Wendy)
                                       Billy Hendrix (Donna)
                                       Tammie Taylor (Woody)
                                       Sue O’Quinn (Roy)

            Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive

Visitation will begin 6:00 pm, Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, June 20, 2022 at the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Barnard officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
