Nancy Hatten Kicklighter, 100, passed away, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Appling Nursing & Rehab Pavillion. She was born November 6, 1922 in Swainsboro, Georgia to Ernest Kincaid and Myra Sutton Hatten and was a 1943 graduate of Swainsboro High School. Nancy was employed as an analyst with civilian personnel on Ft. Stewart for over 30 years. She was an avid sports fan, whether it was watching her son and grandchildren play or in the early years, listening to the Atlanta Braves on the transistor radio and later on television. Nancy loved to read and read hundreds of books in her lifetime. Nancy had a giving nature and was a loving, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Glennville First Christian Church and is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Ernestine Way, John Sutton Hatten, Grace Peebles, E.K. Hatten, Jr., Jean Hatten and Erie York.
She is survived by:

Grandchildren, Clay Kicklighter, Josh Kicklighter (Haley), Quaysean Davis (Ali),
Alisa Hagemann, Missy Durrence
Great Grandchildren, Cade Kicklighter, Maddox Kicklighter, Kameron Kicklighter,
Whit Hagemann, Chad Hagemann, Lydia Patton, Carson Durrence and Conner Durrence
Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from the chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Stuart Bland officiating. Burial will follow at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
