Glennville,

Gary R. "Knott" Geiger, 70, of Glennville passed away Saturday February 26th at his residence. Knott was a lifelong resident of Glennville and a 1969 Graduate of Glennville High School. He retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his son Lance W. Geiger, his parents, Toy L. Geiger, and Ruth O. Geiger and a sister, Barbara Hutcheson.

He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Patricia Butler, his grandson Jonas W. Geiger both of Glennville. His granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Geiger of Marina, California. A brother Tommy (Barbara) Geiger of Glennville, Georgia and his sister Kim(Freddie) Hall of Ludowici, Georgia. Several nieces and nephews and friends also survive

A private service will be held at a later date.
