DeLane DeLoach Brown,72, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022. The Long County native had lived in Glennville most of her life and was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church. She was retired from Smith State Prison. DeLane was known for her passion for making quilts and canning anything that would fit in a jar. She loved Jesus and her family. DeLane was a caring wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy O. Brown, parents, Carl and Susie DeLoach, her twin sister, DeLoris (Willis), her brothers, Wilbur (Shirley), Billy, Bobby, Randy, nephews, Robbie and Steve.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Bamberg (Karen) of Jesup, Terry Bamberg (LeeAnn) of Reidsville, daughter, Teresa Odum of Ludowici; grandchildren, Ashley (Clint), Joshua (Casey Jo), Jared (Kate), Jacob (Alyssa), Mason, Aliah, Roy (Samantha), Tabitha, April (Kyle) and Drew; twelve great-grandchildren; seven nieces, DeeDee (Bob), Roberta “Sissy” (Steve), Kelly, Cathy, Wendy, Tammy (Terrence) and Bobbie; two nephews, Joey and Bobby; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.
Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the chapel of Brannnen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
